The answer according to Paradox:

easy puzzle is "Period".

How I arrived at this:

A period is round but never by itself.

It is sandwiched between a site name and its domain.

4F using a ascii translation is 79 or the letter "O" which is essentially a period.

Ian Stalker e-mailed me confirmation

dgclpb later noticed that the word Period has a subsitution cypher of "abduct", but it is not known if this applies to the game or not.
